Okay, so either James is going for a dip or he's "mad as beans" and has had it with the world and unrequited love. I prefer to think that he's just going for a swim on a rainy day and didn't want to get his shoes, wallet, sunglasses, guitar pick, and change wet... so lets go with that. Call me sappy but I like this song in that adolescent-longing kind of way. I have a heart that longs too people!
